CUA is located at the Metrorail red line's Brookland-CUA station next to Metrobus Bus Bay G. The subway and bus systems serve the city of Washington and its Maryland and Virginia suburbs.

Car Sharing - CUA participates in the Zipcar program, which allows members of the Zipcar network to reserve a car for anywhere between one hour and four days. Each reservation includes 180 free miles. Gas and insurance are provided by Zipcar. Visit the Zipcar website for registration and program information.

Capital Bikeshare is a bike sharing program that allows customers to rent bicycles across Washington, D.C., Alexandria and Arlington, Virginia and Montgomery County, Maryland. Members can join the program for 24 hours, 3 days, 30 days, or a year; the membership fee varies between $7 and $75 depending on the duration you select and your first 30 minutes of each trip are free. A Bikeshare station is located at the Brookland-CUA Metro Station.
